THE WIND
by Patricia Stockdale-Tersi

                I'm a free spirit
To soar the universe, is my glee
                To scale the highest plateau
To harvest sea shells by the sea

                I'm a Free spirit
                As free as the breeze
                On a warm summer day
                Whispering through the trees

                In my utopia,
                There's no sadness, only zest.
                To savor the bitter sweet,
Flavored with a touch of jest.

                The sky is my roof
                The sea, my home.
                Life, at it's best
                Wherever I roam.

                I'm a free spirit
                As free as the breeze
                To soar the open space,
                Whenever I please.

                The world is my footstool,
To sit and sip a cup of tea.
                I belong to the universe
                For I'm The Wind...You see.
